Anticoagulant
CPD and CPDA-1 anticoagulants make blood storage possible for up to 21 and 35 days respectively. SAGM provides RBC storage for up to 42 days.
Plastic Material:
Collection and Transfer bags made of Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) with DEHP Platelet bags made of TOTM with adequate gas permeability which provides Platelet storage up to 5 days. Bags are embossed to avoid sticking to each other during autoclaving and to improve grip when handling, rounded edges reduce loss of blood components in the course of transfusion also these material made of transparent medical grade and particle free raw materials to facilitate monitoring in the course of transfusion.
The sampling Bag is used to collect the first Blood Flow from the patient which prevents contamination from indigenous bacteria on the skin, diverts 10-30 ml of national blood.Blood collection tube enables multiple sampling using vacuum tubes.
