Training

Training programs by the ICD Group are planned and done in two forms: therapeutic and organizational. Therapeutic training is operated by Smarrt Co., whereas organizational training is executed through training department within the consortium.

Therapeutic training

Diversity of products with different technical features necessitate knowing the proper usage of products for therapeutic purposes. Similarly, method training of managing dialysis wards, dialysis quality and adequacy, nursing care, dialysis diet and nutrition, etc. are among the training specifications needed for nurses. Therefore, specialty training courses and improving applied knowledge of nurses are considered the main pillars in evolution of the health management system. This plan, as an initiative, was presented and promoted by Samarrt Company in the medical centers of Iran. Education and training experts for management and providing standard services in dialysis clinics have also been included in this initiative. Syllabi were designed in accordance with global patterns, including special lesson plans and selected teachers from nephrologists and experienced nurses.

Oraganizational training

Producing medical equipment in practice must fulfil certain criteria. It is also necessary to ensure up-to-date training of personnel and adhere to health requirements, therefore such training is provided in two stages. In the first stage, basic training consists of defining the criteria and principals of health care for nurses. In the second stage, using quality management system education (such as CE and ISO 13485) is required. All education is related to medical product standards.
